COMMERCIAL FINANCE MANAGER
The Commercial Finance Manager is responsible for providing timely and proactive financial evaluation, information and advice to enable management to develop and execute plans and make informed decisions.
Job Responsibilities
- Timely submission of monthly performance report and analysis of business results versus budget and prior year, identifying ways to improve revenues and manage costs.
- Timely delivery of forecasts (budget, rolling forecasts and flash estimates) and management reports based on agreed due dates. Identify and monitor risks and opportunities.
- Support strategic planning and transformation initiatives, including preparing consolidated financials and providing analysis and sensitivities into the business
- Provide post-marketing activity evaluation / analysis and support to Marketing and Merchandising teams.
- Work closely with the marketing and merchandising teams to drive profitability across categories and major SKUs.
- Lead regular P&L review and analysis by category.
- Ensure appropriate metrics are being used to measure growth for improving profitability, controlling expenses and enhancing productivity
Job Qualifications
- Has 5 years of combined commercial finance / business partnering / financial planning experience with retail or manufacturing companies
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Accountancy and is a Certified Public Accountant
- Must be adept with preparing financial modeling scenarios
