Job Description

The Commercial Finance Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to Commercial teams, providing financial insights, analysis, and decision support to drive business performance. This role focuses on financial planning, performance analysis, cost management, and operational support, helping stakeholders make informed decisions aligned with company objectives.

  • Business Partnering & Decision Support: Act as the key finance partner to Commercial and assigned business units, providing financial insights on pricing, profitability, cost optimization, and evaluating risks and opportunities to guide strategic decisions.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly performance reports with variance analysis vs budget and forecast; monitor key financial and operational metrics; support preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans and develop financial models and scenario analyses.
  • Commercial Finance Support: Generate and maintain customer P&Ls for assigned customers, assess pricing, discounts, rebates, and promotional investments, and evaluate ROI to drive revenue growth and margin improvement.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Track sales versus targets, deliver variance analysis, and proactively highlight risks and opportunities to support informed decision-making.
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Prepare management dashboards and reports while enhancing processes, improving data accuracy, and supporting automation of financial reporting and analysis tools.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or other quantitative field.
  • 1-3 years in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, or similar analytical roles; experience in FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, or similar industries is a plus
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial reporting/analysis tools.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Prior experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, SAP BI) and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Experience in both Commercial and Supply Chain Finance is an advantage
