RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range strategic planning processes.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
• Analyze monthly financial performance against budget, forecast, prior year, and strategic targets.
• Deliver management reports, dashboards, and executive presentations highlighting key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Evaluate financial implications of strategic initiatives and business cases.
• Drive continuous improvement of forecasting accuracy and planning processes.
• Challenge business assumptions and ensure commercial initiatives such as sales and marketing campaigns deliver acceptable financial returns.
• Monitor sales productivity, acquisition costs, persistency, and customer lifetime value metrics.
• Support negotiations with strategic partners through financial analysis and scenario modelling.
• Provide meaningful analysis and support in delivering the financial performance such as scenario modelling, sensitivity and stress testing.
• Provide profitability analysis by product, channel, customer segment, and distribution partner.
• Oversee operating expense planning and cost optimization initiatives
• Perform finance business partnering with sales, marketing, product, tech, and other company units;
• Provide financial insight and monitoring of business growth, profitability, and capital efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, Business, or related field.
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

Experience

• 8-12 years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Strategic Finance.
• Prior experience within Life Insurance, Health Insurance, General Insurance, or Financial Services is an advantage
• Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance management.

Technical Competencies

• Advanced financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP, or equivalent planning tools.
• Strong presentation and storytelling capabilities for executive audiences.

Leadership Competencies

• Strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.
• Strong business partnering and relationship management skills.
