Job Title: Construction Estimator / Construction Project Manager

Location: Philippines | Remote | US Business Hours

Requirements/Qualifications:

Non-Negotiables (MUST HAVE)

• Construction estimating experience – Must be able to read construction plans, perform takeoffs, and prepare detailed estimates with minimal supervision.
• Commercial construction project experience – Must understand how projects move from estimating/bidding into execution and be comfortable supporting project management activities.
• Strong ownership and independent problem-solving – Client specifically wants someone who can research, follow up, communicate with vendors/project stakeholders, and move tasks forward without needing constant hand-holding.

Negotiables (PREFERRED)

• Direct commercial glass/glazing experience, including storefronts, curtain walls, entrances, windows, or architectural glass.
• Previous experience with a U.S. commercial GC or subcontractor.
• Experience with change orders, RFIs, submittals, project schedules, purchase orders, and vendor coordination.
• Background as an Estimator, Assistant PM, Project Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, or Estimator/Project Manager.
• Familiarity with digital takeoff/estimating and construction project management platforms.

Primary Task (Duties and Responsibilities):

• Reviewing construction plans, drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents
• Performing quantity takeoffs and preparing detailed estimates
• Gathering and comparing vendor/supplier pricing
• Preparing and updating bids, proposals, and estimate breakdowns
• Reviewing scope changes and assisting with change order pricing
• Supporting awarded projects from estimating through execution
• Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal team members
• Tracking project schedules, materials, outstanding items, and project milestones
• Monitoring estimated versus actual project costs
• Maintaining project documentation, correspondence, and status updates
• Identifying and flagging scope gaps, delays, pricing issues, or other project concerns
• Taking ownership of assigned estimating and project management responsibilities
