Key Responsibilities

Commercial Accounting & Financial Operations

• Execute daily accounting activities and financial operations within the commercial accounting function.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in accordance with established financial calendars and service level commitments.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, regulatory standards, and financial policies.
• Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data and reported results.
• Apply accounting policies, procedures, and operational guidelines effectively across assigned responsibilities.
• Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations and proactively resolve outstanding items to strengthen financial accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and operational effectiveness.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Support financial reporting activities and ensure timely delivery of financial information.
• Assist in preparing and validating accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate governance requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of financial records and reporting outputs.
• Contribute to audit readiness by maintaining well-documented financial records and supporting audit requests.

Analysis & Business Support

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support forecasting, reporting, and financial performance monitoring activities.
• Assist in resolving accounting issues and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is advantageous.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, or related finance functions.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and revenue recognition concepts.
• Experience working with ERP systems, accounting applications, and financial reporting tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis and reporting functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across finance and business teams.
