The Practice - A Brief Sketch

Within Song Commerce & Sales, we are building next-generation sales capabilities at the intersection of AI, digital commerce, and revenue growth. Our Commerce & Sales practice focuses on transforming how organizations attract, convert, and retain customers - leveraging AI-driven tools, agentic workflows, and intelligent selling platforms to unlock sustainable growth.

As part of our Commerce & Sales team, you will help clients modernize their sales ecosystems - from lead generation and pipeline management to AI-assisted selling and post-sale expansion - ensuring sales motions are efficient, insight-driven, and built for scale.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Transformation

  • Define and redesign end-to-end sales processes - from lead qualification to deal closure and account expansion - for improved conversion and revenue outcomes

  • Develop go-to-market strategies, channel optimization plans, and sales coverage models aligned to client growth objectives

  • Help clients adopt AI-assisted selling tools (e.g., next-best-action, intelligent forecasting, automated outreach) to improve sales rep productivity and pipeline velocity

  • Design and implement sales transformation roadmaps that connect technology investments to measurable revenue KPIs

  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth through pricing optimization, cross-sell/upsell strategies, and loyalty-driven commerce

AI-Enabled & Agentic Sales

  • Help structure product, pricing, and inventory data for AI-driven discovery and agent-assisted sales transactions

  • Design and prototype AI-powered sales journeys (e.g., conversational selling, guided product recommendations, automated quote-to-order flows) with clear guardrails and success metrics

  • Prepare sales systems and CRM platforms for integration with AI agents, enabling real-time decisioning across product selection, pricing, and deal support

  • Partner with engineering, data, and platform teams to operationalize agentic sales use cases at scale

Digital Commerce & Revenue Operations

  • Support or lead the design of digital commerce systems (B2B and B2C) that drive direct and assisted sales through web, mobile, and marketplace channels

  • Improve how brands and products are discovered and transacted across AI-powered and digital touchpoints (e.g., search, social commerce, generative engine results)

  • Define sales data architecture, analytics, and reporting frameworks to provide actionable insight across the revenue funnel

  • Establish performance baselines and testing approaches to measure sales improvement over time and inform prioritization

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and analytics teams to align demand generation with sales conversion strategies

Consulting & Client Delivery

  • Translate emerging AI and commerce capabilities into practical sales use cases and client roadmaps

  • Support end-to-end delivery from concept to implementation - coordinating across strategy, design, engineering, and data teams

  • Contribute to or lead client workshops, sales diagnostic sessions, and executive readouts

  • Produce clear, insight-driven deliverables that connect sales capabilities to measurable business outcomes

  • Support capability building and knowledge development within the Song Commerce Sales practice

Your Experience Counts!

Management Consultant

  • 4+ years of experience in consulting, digital strategy, commerce, SEO, platforms, or adjacent roles

  • Handson involvement in at least one AI, agentic, or generativeenabled initiative (e.g., automation, AI-assisted workflows, chatbot/LLM integration, or agentic use cases), either through direct implementation or as part of a delivery team

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills

  • Ability to support delivery workstreams, research, analysis, and documentation

  • Comfortable working in fastevolving, ambiguous problem spaces

Management Consulting Manager

  • 10+ years of experience delivering digital commerce, sales transformation, CRM, CLM, or AI-enabled revenue growth initiatives

  • Proven ability to lead workstreams, manage consultants or analysts, and translate strategy into executable solutions and roadmaps

  • Experience in B2B and/or B2C sales model design, including channel strategy, sales ops, and customer lifecycle management

  • Hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management platforms (Icertis strongly preferred) and/or SAP-integrated sales and procurement ecosystems

  • Strong client-facing skills including facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive communication

  • Ability to connect technology concepts (e.g., AI agents, APIs, CLM automation) with real commercial and revenue use cases

  • Exposure to AI-driven selling, agentic commerce, or advanced revenue operations strongly preferred
