We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Collections Team Leader to lead and supervise the collections team in achieving recovery targets while maintaining excellent customer service and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, experience in collections operations, and the ability to drive team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily collection activities and ensure achievement of collection targets
- Monitor delinquent accounts and guide team members on appropriate collection actions
- Coach, train, and motivate collection staff to improve productivity and performance
- Review collection reports, aging accounts, and recovery trends
- Handle escalated customer concerns and complex collection cases
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, banking regulations, and legal requirements
- Coordinate with other departments regarding account resolution and customer concerns
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Implement strategies to reduce delinquency and improve recovery rates
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection performance reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- At least 2–3 years of experience in collections, banking, or credit operations
- With supervisory or leadership experience is an advantage
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable in collection processes and account management
- Proficient in MS Office applications and reporting tools
- Goal-oriented and able to work under pressure
- Knows how to drive and possesses a valid driver's license
