The Qualifications We Seek
- Minimum of 3 years of B2C or consumer collections experience within lending, financial services, debt recovery, or a related industry
- Must currently be in, or have most recently held, a collections role, with no more than a three-month employment gap
- Proven experience negotiating payment arrangements, resolving delinquent accounts, and meeting collections targets
- Strong background in consumer lending, debt collection, loan servicing, or personal finance
- Excellent English communication skills with professional phone, email, chat, and negotiation abilities
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and customer negotiation skills
- Experience using CRM systems or collections management platforms
- Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Sound judgment, resilience, and a customer-focused approach to collections
- Willing to work on a night shift schedule with consecutive days off
- Reliable internet connection for virtual interviews
Your Daily Tasks
- Contact customers via phone or email to resolve past-due accounts and secure payments
- Determine reasons for delinquency and negotiate payment plans or full settlements
- Update customer accounts accurately using CRM tools
- Follow established guidelines to recommend appropriate collection remedies
- Explain delinquency consequences and establish structured repayment schedules
- Handle customer payment inquiries and resolve issues independently
- Organize workflow and schedule follow-ups effectively
- Maintain accurate account records for resolution tracking
- Achieve key performance metrics while complying with company policies
- Perform additional customer service tasks as assigned by the manager
