Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Has an in-depth knowledge in the end-to-end Credit Risk cycle particularly collections risk for Secured (Auto and Housing Loans) or SME products; performs a variety of routine tasks or assignments.
  • Enhance Collections MIS and analysis highlighting potential risks, provide analysis and trends, and recommend actions to improve Collections performance for the various products.
  • Determine the benchmark to track performing and non-performing segments for early detection of portfolio issues.
  • Lead other collections analysts to provide inputs and recommendations to portfolio, product and collection teams.
  • Guide junior officers, provide analysis and recommendations coming from Collections risk perspective to the business and functional line.
  • Regularly review the effectiveness and relevance of the existing work processes and practices to improve collections efficiency and mitigate on past due/NPL/RMG/ARG.
  • Consistent use of prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problem, but in the process, and have ability to identify process/policy improvements and recommend.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams effectively and provide guidance on execution of risk recommendations.
  • Generate regular and adhoc reports using R to be made available for analysis and presentation to internal Risk team and supported functional units.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field is required
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
  • Working knowledge of R and/or SAS (Programming Languages)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, particularly in data gathering, data cleansing, and data analysis
  • Solid organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effective oral, written, and presentation skills; able to coordinate and communicate clearly with stakeholders, customers, and cross‑functional teams
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly and provide guidance on the execution of risk‑related recommendations
  • Proactive, self‑driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
