Job Description
The Collections Team Lead oversees a team of collections specialists to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations. Also leads projects to improve operational efficiency, liaise with stakeholders and clients, and resolve escalated issues while supporting team members.
Management of Credit Processing and Collections Teams
- Supervise collections activities daily.
- Guide and support team members to follow policies and procedures.
- Regularly evaluate performance and provide training to improve team skills.
- Monitor team productivity and efficiency, implementing improvement strategies as needed.
Quality Assurance / Compliance
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all credit documentation.
- Implement necessary measures to enhance quality.
- Ensure compliance with both internal policies and procedures, and external regulations such as BSP issuances and other applicable laws.
- Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports.
Projects / Continuous Improvement
- Completion of adhoc tasks such as creating and updating of SOPs, assistance in credit policies etc.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within digital credit operations.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.
Reporting and Analysis
- Generate and analyze reports on credit processing metrics.
- Provide regular updates to management on KPIs
Requirements
- Graduate of any 4-year course (preferably in banking and finance or any related courses).
- At least 3 - 6 years experience as Digital Credit Operations Lead or any related role.
- Can work closely with cross-functional teams and can assemble, interpret and apply critical thinking to data to help counsel decisions.
- Having experience in reporting / presenting to executives or upper management on high level metrics and key strategic decisions is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets is a plus.
- Open to work in Ortigas, Mandaluyong City.
