Collections Manager

Job Description

• Manages collection activities for assigned portfolio to deliver net credit loss set by the business.
• Identifies risks on the portfolio and recommend appropriate collection strategies for various segments of the portfolio and/or scenarios.
• Analyzes flow rate and delinquency trends and provide recommendations to management to mitigate business risk.
• Provides feedback and recommendations to management and other areas of the business on effectiveness of collection strategies.
• Reviews call quality of analysts through barge-ins. Implement action plans based on results of call quality review.
• Regularly reviews and assesses individual performance of analysts, semi-annual and annual Performance Appraisals of all analysts in his/her team.
• Initiates Development Plan of Officer/s in his/her team as needed and regularly review and monitor progress.
• Manages and coaches collections analysts to ensure goals are achieved.
• Ensures that all collections analysts are in compliance with various policies of the bank on Information Security, Clean Desk, etc.
• Perform critical functions such as escalation upon detection of accounts and procedures with issues
• Able to handle projects that may improve agency management performance
• Able to conduct and participate in the quarterly control audits of Collections covering different processes both internal and external
• Represents collections in meetings with other units pertaining to collections related processes
