Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our Collections Department. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of collection activities and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the collections team.
  • Assist with the preparation and sending of collection letters and statements.
  • Maintain and update customer account information.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding outstanding payments.
  • Track and report on collection statuses and outstanding accounts
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for the collections team
  • Prepare and process documentation for payment arrangements.
  • Liaise with customers and internal departments to resolve account issues.
  • File, scan, and organize documents accurately.
  • Support other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in collections or finance is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based role with standard working hours
  • May require occasional overtime to meet deadlines
