Your core responsibilities include auditing, processing, and timely payment of all hotel payments, as well as keeping a proper record of all amounts due to the hotel from guests, concessionaires, tenants, credit card companies, and employees. As a Cluster Accounts Officer (Credit/AR), you're not just supporting the hotel's financial operations – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Perform daily reconciliation of House Account billings to the Owning Company and e-commerce platforms.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of Hilton Honors reimbursement invoices.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of travel agency commissions and ensure appropriate accruals are recorded for unbilled commissions at month-end.
  • Assist with the creation of Group Master accounts and respond to billing-related queries.
  • Review Group Master transactions and raise invoices for direct billing of audited banquet charges to corporate clients and guests.
  • Review daily Direct Bill submissions in DocMX and process them in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Raise invoices for direct billing of rental and other charges to tenants and other entities.
  • Review and maintain the Deposit Ledger and ensure deposits received are recorded in accordance with contractual terms.
  • Review Credit Application Forms for new customers before submission to the Cluster Accountant for assessment.
  • Organise and schedule monthly Credit Meetings and prepare meeting minutes for review by the Cluster Accountant and Assistant Financial Controller.
  • Finalise the AR Aging Report for review by the Cluster Accountant and Assistant Financial Controller, including details of long-outstanding receivables and follow-up actions taken.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries for AR-related adjustments and accruals, where required.
  • Respond to queries from other departments relating to deposits, invoice payments and commissions.
  • Assist with credit card refunds through the relevant credit card portals and terminals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Cluster Accountant and/or Assistant Financial Controller in support of business operations.

In Addition, This Role Requires The Following Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit or a related accounting function.
  • Experience in the hospitality or F&B industry would be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of SUN accounting system and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good attention to detail, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet reporting timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and spoken English to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required to support business operations.
