Cloud Platform Engineer

Designs, builds, tests, and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance.

Summary: As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, testing, and deployment of cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and non-cloud infrastructures. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to ensure the architecture's viability, security, and performance while actively participating in discussions to enhance project outcomes and address challenges effectively. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and reliability. - Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture and deployment processes. - Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices to enhance the team's capabilities. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter C2M SPL. - Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices. - Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks. - Familiarity with cloud service providers like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter C2M SPL. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
