Designs, builds, tests, and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance.
Summary: As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, testing, and deployment of cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and non-cloud infrastructures. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the architecture's viability, security, and performance while also managing the deployment of infrastructure and platform environments. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to enhance overall performance. - Monitor and evaluate team progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure project milestones are met. - Develop and implement best practices for cloud application solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Mainframe Operating System. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with AS/400 CLP ILE. - Strong understanding of cloud architecture and deployment strategies. - Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Proficiency in scripting languages to automate processes and improve efficiency. - Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in Mainframe Operating System. - This position is based at our Cebu office.
