Position: Application Support Engineer / Cloud Infrastructure
Shift Schedule: US hours, 8AM to 6PM ET
Work Set up: Hybrid, 2 days per week
Number of days in a month or week that needs to be in the office: 2x a week
Location: Mandaluyong, Philippines
Summary:
As a Technology Support Engineer, you will engage in resolving incidents and problems across various business system components, ensuring operational stability. Your typical day will involve collaborating with vendors, assisting service management teams with issue analysis and resolution, and creating Requests for Change to enhance system performance. You will also update knowledge base articles to facilitate effective troubleshooting, contributing to a seamless operational environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Cloud Infrastructure.
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Content Management, Linux.
- Strong understanding of incident and problem management processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for hosting and managing services.
- Experience with Alfresco or Mobius platform optimization, including repository management, archiving, and content retrieval.
- Solid communication skills to effectively interact with both business and technical contacts.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure.
- This position is based at our Manila office.
- Experience with Alfresco / Mobius platform optimization, including repository management, archiving, and content retrieval is REQUIRED.
