Job Description
Key Accountabilities
Ensure cloud resources are available, secure, and operating as expected.
Deliver and maintain day-to-day operations of cloud environments for all strategic, transition, and transformation programs.
Execute ITIL best practice principles across multiple concurrent release streams in a fast-paced and evolving environment that aligns seamlessly with the production release process.
Contribute to a culture of delivery innovation and accountability.
Respond to basic incidents, alerts, and service requests within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Maintain accurate records of cloud resources, technologies, and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
Environment Management
Monitor cloud environment health, performance, and security to ensure optimal operation.
Plan, coordinate, and execute upgrades, releases, and project deployments with minimal business disruption.
Support incident management, escalation processes, and documentation of solutions.
Maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge bases to ensure operational consistency.
Coordinate operational activities and changes related to IT infrastructure, including application servers and databases.
Support routine maintenance, patching, backups, and system health checks to maintain environment stability.
Perform gap analysis of existing environments against standards defined by AXA architects.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for environment preparation, execution, and post-deployment activities.
Implement security, compliance, and governance measures in line with organizational policies.
Contribute to capacity planning and resource management aligned with business needs.
Cloud Operations
Assist in deploying, configuring, and provisioning Azure and AWS cloud resources in both production and non-production environments.

Troubleshoot and resolve common and complex issues, performing root cause analysis when necessary.
Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.
Manage user access, permissions, and security configurations in accordance with best practices.
Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, market trends, and best practices related to provisioning and deployment.
Collaborate with project teams to understand technical requirements and support environment setup activities.
Experience And Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 3 years of system administration and hands-on experience operating AWS and/or Azure platforms.
Understanding of cloud computing concepts and services such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Basic experience managing operating systems such as Linux and Windows, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Understanding of networking concepts including IP addressing, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and network security principles.
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python to automate tasks and manage resources.
Experience providing technical support, diagnosing issues, and resolving system or application problems.
Basic familiarity with databases and data management.
Technical understanding of software development lifecycles, IT architecture, and cloud IT strategy.

Certifications
Entry-level certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (mandatory).
ITIL v3 or v4 Certification (optional but advantageous).
