About the Role
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team in the Philippines. This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and automated Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions while supporting cloud and hybrid identity migrations. The position plays a critical role in packaging identity technologies into cohesive offerings and enabling secure application access across cloud and onprem environments.
Key Responsibilities
Identity & Access Management
- Maintain and support Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) operations, including user and group administration, directory synchronization, and identity protection
- Architect and enforce rolebased and attributebased access control (RBAC/ABAC) and conditional access policies
- Engineer and deploy MultiFactor Authentication (MFA) and Single SignOn (SSO) solutions
- Configure and manage authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect
- Implement hybrid identity solutions, integrating onpremises systems with cloud platforms
- Design and manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
Engineering & Automation
- Architect and develop APIs to enable servicetoservice integration and automation
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Utilize Ansible to support pipeline automation and IAM process optimization
- Build automated processes for user access provisioning and deprovisioning
- Support frontend portal web development initiatives related to identity access
Security, Compliance & Operations
- Apply Zero Trust principles and identity protection strategies
- Leverage Entra ID Protection and Microsoft Defender capabilities
- Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and internal IAM policies
- Act as the engineering escalation point for IAMrelated incidents
- Perform deep troubleshooting and root cause analysis for identity and access issues
- Implement and support Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and encryption solutions
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with application teams, cloud platform teams, and security stakeholders
- Interpret business and technical requirements and deliver solutions aligned with target architecture frameworks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 3 years in Identity and Access Management
- Strong handson experience with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID
- Expertise in identity security, resiliency, and IAM best practices
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Python
- Experience with hybrid identity architectures (onprem + cloud)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problemsolving skills
