Key Responsibilities

Clinical Education Team Leadership

  • Directly manage and develop the clinical education team, including clinical educators, instructors, skills lab facilitators, and education coordinators assigned to GRIT Academy programs
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, and deliver formal performance evaluations for all direct reports
  • Build a high-performing, mission-aligned team culture centered on clinical excellence, continuous learning, and commitment to nurse success
  • Identify professional development needs within the clinical education team and create targeted growth plans and learning opportunities
  • Manage team scheduling, workload distribution, and resource allocation to ensure consistent program delivery across all active GRIT Academy cohorts

Curriculum Development & Program Quality

  • Lead the design, development, and ongoing refinement of GRIT Academy's clinical education curriculum, ensuring alignment with U.S. facility expectations, evidence-based practice standards, EMR workflows, and regulatory requirements
  • Establish and maintain competency frameworks, learning outcome benchmarks, and clinical skills verification protocols for each stage of the IERN pre-deployment journey
  • Integrate simulation-based learning, case-based instruction, and skills lab practice into program design to develop nurse readiness for real-world U.S. clinical environments
  • Conduct regular curriculum audits and gap analyses; update content in response to changes in U.S. scope-of-practice regulations, Joint Commission standards, CMS requirements, and state nursing board guidelines
  • Develop and administer standardized clinical competency assessments to measure nurse readiness at key milestones throughout the GRIT Academy program
  • Use program completion data, graduation outcomes, and post-deployment performance feedback to drive continuous improvement of curriculum design and delivery

Transition to Practice (TTP) Program Ownership

  • Serve as the primary program owner and strategic lead for Insight Global Health's Transition to Practice (TTP) program, governing the end-to-end clinical preparation and deployment readiness pathway for Philippine-educated registered nurses
  • Design and manage TTP program components including clinical orientation modules, facility-specific onboarding preparation, NCLEX readiness support, U.S. cultural and professional practice integration, and competency verification milestones
  • Coordinate with the U.S. Director of Clinical Operations and Nurse Managers, Field Operations to align TTP curriculum and graduation benchmarks with the clinical expectations of U.S. client healthcare facilities
  • Develop TTP frameworks adaptable to global deployment markets beyond the United States, ensuring the program can support nurse transitions into other international healthcare systems as program expansion requires
  • Track and analyze TTP outcome metrics — including NCLEX pass rates, 30/60/90-day integration performance, voluntary attrition, and client satisfaction scores — to evaluate program effectiveness and drive evidence-based improvements
  • Manage the handoff process from TTP program completion to active deployment, ensuring continuity of clinical records, competency documentation, and licensure tracking for each nurse in the pipeline

University & Clinical Partnership Development

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Philippine universities, nursing schools, and colleges to support nurse recruitment pipelines, curriculum collaboration, and academic program alignment with GRIT Academy standards
  • Develop formal affiliation agreements with Philippine teaching hospitals and clinical training facilities to provide structured clinical practicum and simulation experiences for GRIT Academy participants
  • Collaborate with university nursing faculty to align Philippine nursing education with U.S. clinical standards, identifying curriculum gaps and co-developing bridge content where needed
  • Represent Insight Global Health at Philippine nursing education forums, academic conferences, and professional nursing association events to strengthen institutional visibility and attract high-quality nurse candidates
  • Identify and evaluate new academic and clinical partnership opportunities that expand the GRIT Academy training ecosystem and support program growth into new geographic regions or specialty areas

Clinical Program Expansion & Innovation

  • Lead the development and launch of new clinical education programs, specialty practice tracks, and continuing education initiatives that expand GRIT Academy's program portfolio and address evolving U.S. healthcare workforce needs
  • Evaluate emerging clinical training technologies — including simulation platforms, virtual skills labs, LMS systems, and digital competency assessment tools — and lead their integration into GRIT Academy programming
  • Develop GRIT Academy's capacity to support nurse deployment into specialty areas beyond general acute care, including critical care, perioperative services, long-term care, and telehealth-enabled practice environments
  • Support strategic planning efforts for international program expansion, providing subject matter expertise on clinical education models adaptable to deployment markets in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, the Middle East, and other global healthcare systems
  • Contribute to the development of post-deployment clinical support resources, including re-entry orientation programs, clinical refresher content, and specialty transition pathways for nurses advancing in their U.S. or international careers

Regulatory Compliance & Clinical Standards

  • Ensure all clinical education programs comply with Philippine nursing board (PRC) standards and any applicable overseas employment regulatory requirements (POEA)
  • Maintain current knowledge of U.S. nursing licensure requirements, NCLEX-RN examination structures, CGFNS certification standards, and VisaScreen processes relevant to the IERN population
  • Ensure GRIT Academy clinical education documentation, competency records, and program credentials meet the evidentiary standards required by U.S. state nursing boards, credentialing bodies, and immigration processes
  • Stay informed on regulatory and accreditation changes in key international deployment markets and proactively update program content to reflect evolving standards

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Director of Clinical Operations — Philippines to align clinical education priorities with organizational strategy, program growth targets, and deployment timelines
  • Collaborate with the Virtual Healthcare Manager to ensure clinical education programming supports nurses who will transition into virtual care and remote monitoring roles
  • Partner with HR, Recruiting, and Credentialing teams to coordinate nurse intake, program enrollment, licensure tracking, and immigration milestone management
  • Provide regular reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations — Philippines on program metrics, cohort progress, curriculum outcomes, and partnership development activities
