Position: Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Philippines (Remote)
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Quality Assurance Specialist to support the quality, accuracy, and effectiveness of advanced CDI educational content.
This fully remote role focuses on reviewing and validating CDI learning materials prior to release in a Learning Management System (LMS). The ideal candidate has strong CDI expertise, a passion for education, and excellent attention to detail.
You will collaborate with CDI educators and content specialists to ensure learning materials are clinically accurate, engaging, and aligned with best practices in healthcare documentation and adult learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of advanced CDI educational content before publication in the LMS
- Evaluate materials for clinical accuracy, regulatory alignment, and CDI best practices
- Ensure content is learner-centered and aligned with adult learning principles
- Review scripted learning materials, avatar presentations, and text-to-speech elements for clarity and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a high-quality learning experience
- Provide constructive feedback to improve educational content
- Support the development and improvement of QA standards, workflows, and documentation
Qualifications
- 35 years of Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) experience is required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license holder or licensed physician (MD or DO) is required
- CDI certification required (CCDS or CDIP) preferred
- Strong understanding of CDI principles, clinical validation, and documentation standards
- Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Experience in CDI education, training, or curriculum development preferred
- Familiarity with adult learning principles or instructional design preferred
- Previous quality assurance, auditing, or peer review experience in CDI or healthcare education preferred
