Position: Clinical Documentation Improvement Nurse Specialist – Inpatient
Location: BGC, Taguig (Hybrid)
Required Qualifications:
- CDI Experience: At least 2 years inpatient CDI review experience.
- Clinical Experience: Minimum of 2 years acute care clinical experience in a hospital setting (ICU, Med/Surg strongly preferred)
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Licensure: Must be Registered Nurse and with active PHRN or USRN license.
- RCM Knowledge: Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding, MS-DRG methodology, and risk adjustment.
- Software Knowledge: Proficiency with hospital-based electronic medical records (EMR) such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and customer service skills (CEFR level of at least B2 for both verbal and written)
Preferred:
- Credential/Certification: CCDS (Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist), or CDIP (Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner), or CCS (Certified Coding Specialist).
