Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Clinical Compliance & QA Specialist to evaluate clinical operations across our growing national network of telemedicine platforms, med spas, and hybrid wellness practices. Operating directly under our Chief Medical Officer (CMO), you will execute structured compliance audits to ensure client sites adhere to state-specific laws, scope-of-practice regulations, level-of-licensure requirements, and federal virtual care standards. Utilizing an established audit scorecard and cutting-edge AI tools (Claude), you will translate clinical documentation into formal compliance reports, drive corrective action plans, and safeguard regulatory integrity across our client portfolio. This role is built for a clinical or operational professional with hands-on experience in cash-pay, aesthetic, or virtual healthcare environments who thrives in a technology-forward, fully remote workflow.
Schedule: Part-time (20 hours/week), transitioning to Full-time (40 hours/week) at 90 days based on performance. 9:00 am to 1:00 pm EST
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Compliance & Audit Execution: Conduct comprehensive initial compliance audits for new client locations 6–8 weeks post-launch, as well as recurring annual audits for active virtual and hybrid practice sites.
- Rubric Application & Risk Evaluation: Apply CMO-developed audit rubrics weighing state board rules, provider scope-of-practice guidelines, MSO governance structures, supervision/delegation rules, and standing orders.
- AI-Driven Reporting & CRM Hygiene: Leverage AI tools (Claude) to efficiently compile audit data into professional compliance reports, maintaining audit-ready, up-to-date documentation files in the CRM.
- Deficiency Routing & CAP Re-Auditing: Identify regulatory gaps, escalate findings to medical leadership, and conduct follow-up re-audits 6–8 weeks post-Corrective Action Plan (CAP) implementation to confirm resolution.
- Audit Calendar Management & Client Communication: Maintain the master audit calendar across all national locations, serving as the primary point of contact for client-site staff regarding audit schedules, documentation needs, and findings.
- Regulatory Research & Rubric Enhancement: Monitor evolving state and federal telehealth regulations, state medical board rules, and cash-pay industry standards, partnering with the CMO to update audit rubrics continuously.
Requirements:
- Industry Experience: Direct operational or clinical experience within cash-pay medical wellness, med spa, aesthetics, or telemedicine environments.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Working familiarity with cash-pay regulatory frameworks, including provider scope of practice, MSO governance, delegation/supervision guidelines, standing orders, and multi-state telehealth laws.
- Audit & CRM Proficiency: Demonstrated capability applying structured rubrics consistently across diverse state environments, maintaining organized record systems within a CRM.
- AI & Technical Adaptability: Comfort using generative AI tools (such as Claude) to support documentation, report synthesis, and workflow efficiency.
- Detail-Oriented Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce polished, professional regulatory reports for executive review.
- Remote Maturity: Self-directed, highly organized, and reliable in an autonomous, fully remote work setting. Prior background in clinical QA, risk management, or compliance auditing is a strong plus.
