Description:

The Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) is responsible for providing professional

support to our medical device sales team. The support takes on many forms and shapes, ranging

from technical support with our devices/equipment to clinical application questions across a

wide range of indications, to product training and application support online or hospital on-site

sessions. The CAS works very closely with Device Sales Specialists who are responsible for

developing account relationships and deployment of sales and marketing strategies to acquire

new hospitals customers or sell additional devices into our existing base, hospitals or health

centers. Additionally, the CAS supports the medical device sales teams who are responsible for

deploying corporate resources for solutions selling, to help our customers achieve additional

efficiency and productivity through Philcare's product platforms and service offerings. The

Clinical Applications Specialist will support the sales team during the early part of the sales

cycle and after the sales closing with product demonstrations, installations and customer

follow-up.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Product demonstrations and training to customers and business partners.

Establishing and managing customer relationships.

Supporting educational partnerships with key-opinion leaders and training centers.

Acquire good product knowledge and keeping up-to-date with developments in the

therapeutic areas relevant to the assigned devices responsibility.

Setting up documentation for pre or post customer training, such as quick guides,

presentations, tutorials, turning customer into power-users, etc.

Provide customer feedback to the management.

Influence account growth and development through clinical expertise and support.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferably in Nursing/Medical Technology/Radiologic Technology or

equivalent.

Minimum 5-7 years business development experience specializing / operating in medical

devices/ products / equipment industry with exposure in

ICU/Surgery/Pulmonary/Interventional Therapy OR.

Clinical background with a minimum 5-7 years experience from working/operating in ICU

/ CV Lab / IR, Pulmonary rehab, Surgery etc.

Excellent communication skills and ability to teach.

Customer friendly and problem solving oriented, representative and responsible.

With positive attitude and integrity, honesty and professionalism at all times.

Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.

Ability to travel - 40-50%.

  • Birth Certificate or Passport
  • Valid NBI or Police Clearance
  • Tin Card or Tin Number
  • SSS Card or E1 form
  • Pagibig ID or Pagibig form
  • Philhealth ID or Philhealth form
  • Marriage Certificate if applicable
  • Any two valid ID for opening of China Bank Payroll Account
  • Medical Examination with fit to work to be conducted by our accredited medical clinic
