This position is responsible for the operational supervision and ongoing support of health care delivery at a fast paced, innovative clinic. Responsibilities include supervision of all primary care teams, enabling services staff, front office and program areas including: front desk, health access and benefits eligibility and medical referral.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supervision And Development Of Clinic Responsibilities
. Supports, monitors and supervises out-patient consultations out-patient laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
. Utilizes quality improvement initiatives to assist teams in improving patient outcomes and achieving health goals over time.
. Oversees on-going clinic visit of patients for all providers/services.
. Oversees day-to-day clinic operations, in-charge of clinic services concerns (patient complaints, physical condition of the clinic such as cleanliness and orderliness).
. Provides operational supervision to clinical staff.
. Supports and implements policies and procedures in conjunction with staff and doctors that are based on clinic policies and guidelines.
2. Supervision Of Enabling And Clinic Support Services
. Provides regular supervision and on-going training for front office & enabling services staff including supervision meetings, evaluations, feedback, support and coaching
. Assures smooth operations and communications between Sales, CMG and clinic operations
. Investigates system, work flow, and operational problems and make recommendations
. Facilitates communications between providers and enabling services staff on different shifts
. Supports, monitors and supervises in-patient pre-approvals
. In the absence of Department Manager, will actively participate in decision making processes in relation to determining limit of coverage or signing LOA's
3. Administrative
. Develops monthly schedule of Clinic Staff and Doctors and maintain monthly calendar
. Approves leaves and overtime of clinic staff and checks and sign doctors time records for submission to HR
. Serves as advocate for clinic staff and volunteers in clinic leadership meetings and other appropriate venues
. In the absence of Clinic Manager, oversees flow of clinic operations, answer's staff's questions, trouble shoots problems and seeks out appropriate support as needed
. Works as part of a cohesive team to provide support for clinic staff
. Attends staff meetings and required trainings
. Meets weekly with Clinic Manager for supervision
. Participates in discussions, events, workshops, and trainings offered by the company to foster awareness
. Supports the policies and goals of the company
. Undertakes continuous education to remain current with industry standards
. Ensures that statutory permits are updated (DOH, License to Operate, etc.) or prepares and updates requirements needed for acquiring permits from DOH, Philhealth, etc.
. Responsible for revision of calibration plan (includes monitoring & scheduling of preventive maintenance of equipment)
. Assists with accounting related matters such as, but not limited to, billing services, bank deposits of cash transactions, release of payslips/cheques payable to physicians
. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
4. Reports
. Prepares monthly reports
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
. Education : Graduate of any medical course
. Experience : At least 5 years experience in a clinic setting Knowledgeable with HMO process
