The Clinic Scheduler is responsible in managing patient scheduling, registration, and coordination of care to ensure a smooth and positive patient experience. The role supports front-end healthcare operations by maintaining accurate patient information, facilitating communication, and assisting with care coordination.
Job Description:
• Checks out patients after office visits and ensures accurate documentation of visit details.
• Schedules office appointments and endoscopic procedures in a timely and organized manner.
• Coordinates care with hospitals, external facilities, and referring providers.
• Processes medical records requests and ensures proper handling of patient information.
• Communicates with patients regarding appointments, preparation instructions, and follow-up care.
• Assists with documentation and coordination within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and organized patient records and information.
• Provides excellent patient service and supports the clinical and administrative teams.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in medical reception, scheduling, or prior authorization.
• Experience in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting. • Demonstrates professionalism and a patient-focused approach to service delivery.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information.
• Demonstrates adaptability and comfort using technology and healthcare systems.
• Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willing to work on-site the first three months and may transition to a hybrid or work-from-home arrangement based on performance and client feedback.
