Provide quality care and assistance to patients and doctors in the clinics.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.Provides assistanceand out-patient service to patients/members.
.Verify membership status, diagnosis, healthcare package/coverage, utilizationhistory.
.Takes patient'sinitialvital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate,heightand weight) repeat when necessary and properly record them on patient's chart/exam report form.
.Administers basic medical services (e.g. nebulization,renderemergency first aid, administration of medicines - oral/injectable as per advice of physicians on duty)
.Performs ECG and records its result
.Assistsdoctors during breast, genital and rectal examinations of patients and during minor surgical procedures.
.Receive laboratory/diagnostic exam requests from clinic nurse/physician/patient.
.Approve laboratory/diagnostic exam requests and issue officialMediCardlaboratory/diagnostic exam request form.
.Encode and upload daily approvalsinthe intranet.
.Release ECG/APE/PE results topatient.
.DetermineManagement given by the physician and advise patient accordingly.
.Give instructions to the patient as to the medicines prescribed, how to takethemand duration of treatment.
.Advisepatientas to the schedule of the next follow-up if necessary andassistin scheduling the next appointment.
.Askpatientto accomplish the survey form and ensure its completion and submission before discharge.
.Cleaning, disinfection,sterilization of medical instruments and speculums for autoclave.
.Change oflinen and prepare all used linens and gowns for laundry.
.Answer patient/telephone inquiries.
.Prepares Monthly Clinic report
.Prepares summary of OP OR/reader'sfeeof various physicians.
