This position is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that build the knowledge, skills, and professional capabilities of employees across the organization. The Training Consultant ensures that learners are fully equipped to perform effectively in their roles by providing engaging, wellstructured, and relevant learning experiences.
The role serves as a dedicated learning partner to various business units, assessing training needs, developing tailored learning solutions, and facilitating both virtual and inperson sessions. The Training Consultant acts as a subjectmatter resource on learning methodologies, training best practices, instructional design, and adult learning principles.
This position also plays a key role in supporting internal mobility and capabilitybuilding initiatives by preparing employees for role transitions, upskilling opportunities, and continuous learning pathways. The consultant fosters collaboration across teams to ensure smooth implementation of learning programs and drive a culture of development across the organization.
This position will initially be assigned as a key member of our Sales Capability Team and help drive learning programs in Sales.
The Function Is Accountable In Managing The Following Areas
Design, Delivery, & Facilitation
- Designs, delivers, and facilitates training programs that build core competencies, professional skills, and jobspecific capabilities for various employee groups.
- Facilitates organizationwide learning sessions, including leadership development modules, core and foundational skills training, functional and technical programs, and proactive hiring classes.
- Ensures training materials and delivery methods reflect best practices in adult learning, instructional design, technologyenabled learning, and learner engagement.
Needs Assessment & Content Development
- Conducts needs assessments, collaborates with managers, and identifies learning gaps to develop relevant and impactful training content.
- Collaborates with Capability COE, SMEs, and business units to design, customize, or enhance course materials as needed.
- Contributes fresh ideas and innovative approaches to improve training engagement, delivery effectiveness, and learner experience.
Training Program Management
- Leads endtoend project management for training programs, including scoping, development, scheduling, deployment, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Maintains training documentation, reports, and evaluation data to monitor program effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
- Evaluates training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and manager feedback.
Learning Tools, Guidance & Support
- Serves as the pointofcontact for trainingrelated inquiries, providing guidance on learning content, tools, methodologies, and learning resources.
- Supports adoption and effective use of learning tools and platforms by providing coaching, troubleshooting, and followthrough support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree holder
- Knowledge of CRM
- Working knowledge of digital training authoring tools and platforms used to create interactive learning content.
- Excellent PC and software skills
- 3-5 years experience preferably in sales, CRM and training or related fields
- Deep expert knowledge and understanding of sales skills, strategies and tactics
- Deep understanding of virtual classroom techniques along with exceptional presentation skills that engage and challenge learners to drive revenue and market share.
- Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills
- Ability to work and collaborate cooperatively within a team and across the organization matrix to achieve group and organizational goals.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple training projects consisting of conflicting priorities and working with individuals from different levels and segments of the organization.
- Good understanding or knowledge of B2B sales operations
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to function within ambiguity and bring clarity to complex situations
- Leads and participates in multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously with flexibility and great attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.
