Position Summary
The Client Services Manager (CSM) serves as a key support partner to Private Banking Relationship Managers (RMs) in managing and servicing a portfolio of High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients. The role combines client servicing, investment execution support, credit administration, account management, regulatory compliance, and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of exceptional private banking experiences.
The incumbent acts as the primary point of contact for day-to-day banking inquiries and transaction processing while supporting Relationship Managers in wealth management, lending, investment, and client acquisition activities. This role requires strong knowledge of private banking products, investment markets, credit facilities, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- To assist senior Relationship Managers in providing private banking service to clients
- To answer client enquiries on financial markets and account information in a polite and professional manner
- To provide first-class customer service which meet the standards/requirements/guidelines prescribed by all concerned regulators as well as the Bank
- To recommend products and services to meet the needs, risk profiles and affordability of customers whom will be provided with clear and accurate information and kept informed throughout and after the sales process
- To provide professional and appropriate advice in the best interests of customers and with regard to their unique circumstances
- To disclose claim, redress and compliant procedures throughout and after the sales process, and upon request
- To prepare documentation for opening of new client accounts
- To assist senior Relationship Managers to take clients orders for securities investment and other banking transactions
- To assist senior Relationship Managers in preparing credit proposals, credit amendments and credit reviews
- To monitor remittance, loans and deposits, and securities investment transactions pending for settlement upon value day
- To assist senior Relationship Managers in the daily monitoring of collateral and loan positions for all credit facilities
- To be responsible for maintaining and safekeeping client records and files
Requirements
- Bachelor's / University degree preferred
- Possesses CACS paper 1 and 2
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Private Banking
- Good knowledge of banking procedures
- Sound knowledge of credit and investment products
- Good team player
- Excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Excellent presentation and communication skill
