Job Overview

Under moderate direction, the Account Manager supports the planning, management, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and brand communication strategies. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day client relationships, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring project delivery, and contributing to strategic account growth. The ideal candidate has strong client servicing experience, preferably within an advertising, marketing, or integrated communications agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and conduct client visits as necessary.
  • Serve as a key point of contact between the agency and clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Provide timely updates to clients and internal teams regarding project status, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Support research, data gathering, and analysis to develop effective marketing and brand communication strategies.
  • Prepare client and creative briefs based on business objectives, market insights, and data analysis.
  • Participate in the development and presentation of integrated marketing and advertising plans.
  • Ensure projects are executed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, including Creative, Strategy, Digital, Production, and Operations, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address issues that may impact timelines, budgets, or deliverables.
  • Support account budgeting, financial tracking, and cost management activities.
  • Participate actively in monthly financial reviews and account performance discussions.
  • Assist in managing account profitability and budget compliance.
  • Support business development initiatives, including new client pitches, proposal preparations, and competitive presentations.
  • Monitor industry developments, market trends, competitor activities, and client business changes, and share relevant insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client engagements and marketing investments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Account Management, Client Servicing, Marketing, or Advertising.
  • Experience in an Advertising Agency, Digital Agency, Integrated Marketing Agency, or Marketing Communications Agency is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing multiple client accounts and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of marketing, advertising, brand communications, and campaign execution.
  • Excellent client management, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred Background

  • Experience handling consumer electronics, retail, FMCG, telecommunications, or technology brands is an advantage.
  • Exposure to integrated marketing campaigns, digital marketing, media, activation, and brand management projects is preferred.
