The Qualifications We Seek
- 3+ years of experience in GTM engineering or data enrichment
- RevOps experience is required
- Hands-on Clay experience managing 10 or more active production tables
- Experience using at least two enrichment providers, such as ZoomInfo, Clearbit, Apollo, Clay-native sources, or LinkedIn
- Familiarity with intent data platforms such as G2, Bombora, or 6sense
- Previous experience in B2B SaaS, preferably supporting nonprofit, social-sector, or mission-driven organizations
- Experience integrating Clay with CRM or sales engagement platforms
- Proven ability to build complex, multi-table Clay architectures in production environments
- Strong knowledge of waterfall and single-provider enrichment, row-cost management, and large-scale enrichment failure debugging
- Working knowledge of Salesforce object structures, field types, record routing, and push mechanics, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Salesforce administrators
- Ability to translate sales plays and ideal customer profile (ICP) hypotheses into structured enrichment and signal workflows
- Proficiency in configuring HTTP requests, parsing JSON responses, and using webhooks to connect systems
- Basic scripting skills in Python or JavaScript, considered an advantage
- Process-driven approach to documenting workflows, naming tables consistently, and building maintainable solutions
- Commercial understanding of sales pipelines, ICP fit, and the needs of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Account Executives (AEs)
Your Daily Tasks
- Design, build, and maintain production-ready Clay tables for target account lists, ICP scoring inputs, signal enrichment layers, and prospect waterfalls
- Configure multi-provider enrichment sequences using Clearbit, Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and other sources, incorporating fallback logic, deduplication, and field standardization
- Build and operationalize compelling-event signals, including job changes, funding rounds, hiring trends, intent signals from G2 and Bombora, and custom triggers
- Develop Clay workflows that score and prioritize accounts based on enrichment data and actionable signals
- Develop and maintain Clay-to-Salesforce push logic, including field mapping, object routing across Accounts, Contacts, and Leads, and error handling
- Build Clay webhook triggers and HTTP API integrations to connect internal and third-party systems
- Manage enrichment accuracy, optimize match rates, and improve field coverage across all active Clay tables
- Identify and resolve data gaps, enrichment failures, and integration issues proactively
- Maintain clear and current documentation for active tables, enrichment logic, field definitions, and integration flows
