Claims Supervisor

Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):

• Responsible for supervising and monitoring motor car claim evaluation and approval.

• Verify, analyze, and investigate whether claims are covered by the policy.

• Ensure that all claims for evaluation are attended to within the specified turnaround

time (TAT) set forth by the company.

• Develop specific action plans to improve and enhance the evaluation process.

• Collaborate with adjusters and processors to minimize and prevent fraudulent

claims.

• Prepare and submit necessary recommendations to ensure a fair settlement is

rendered.

• Prepare letters for the claims committee regarding total loss and carnap claims.

• Perform post-audit on claims and monitor outstanding losses.

• Supervise, motivate, train, and develop claim processors to maximize their potential.

• Review final reports of independent adjusters.

• Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Skills And Qualifications:

• A graduate of any four-year course, preferably with experience in motor claims

handling and the automotive industry.

• Has basic knowledge of non-life insurance.

• Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Can communicate effectively in both Tagalog and English, with good communication

skills.

• Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Adaptable and flexible to change
