Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of life insurance claims, from initial submission to resolution.
- Review claim applications, verify documentation, and assess policy coverage.
- Serve as the primary contact for policyholders, beneficiaries, and internal teams, providing clear updates and guidance.
- Ensure claims are processed in accordance with legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of claim activities, decisions, and correspondence.
- Determine claim validity and negotiate fair settlements when applicable.
- Work closely with underwriting, legal, and finance teams to resolve complex cases.
- Provide compassionate assistance to beneficiaries during sensitive situations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field (preferred).
- Experience in insurance claims, ideally within life insurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
