What You'll Do
- Processing of claims including preparing and following up correspondence between client and underwriters.
- Updating of Claims Status Reports.
- Keep informed of industry developments.
- Ensure a consistently high level of service and professionalism.
- Liaising with insurers and other interested parties to close open claims promptly.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Respond to enquiries and requests for action from the Claims Manager and Account Executives.
- Keep management and others informed appropriately and as required about work status.
- Keep open claims status cycle to a minimum, provide timely turnaround of requests and organized workflow and follow up systems.
Key Criteria- Experience and knowledge of Insurance Claims environment.
- Familiar with following below:
- Insurance Brokers Code of Practice.
- Insurance Borking Compliance Policy & Procedures.
- Privacy Legislation.
- Undertake appropriate activities to achieve/maintain RG 146 compliance.
- Minimum - ASIC PS146 - Tier 2 Broking / General Insurance Industry Qualification & Maintenance.
- Computer skills including Word and Excel.
- The ability to be flexible in a rapidly growing organization.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Work setup:
Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6am - 3pm, PHT) with a hybrid setup (once a week to go on-site, every Wednesday).
