Position Responsibilities:
- Process and adjudicate death claims for Annuity contracts, including assessment, calculation of benefits, and final claims decisions within established authority levels.
- Review policy contracts, beneficiary information, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate and timely claim settlements and fund distributions.
- Identify and investigate complex, unusual, contested, fraudulent, or rival claims, partnering with Legal and internal stakeholders as needed.< /li>
- Communicate with beneficiaries, advisors, executors, lawyers, and internal teams to resolve inquiries, obtain requirements, and provide claims-related guidance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, service standards, and unclaimed property guidelines while maintaining operational accuracy and quality.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and on-the-job training while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining expertise in products, systems, and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in life insurance, annuity claims, investment operations, death claims adjudication, customer service, or a related financial services environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
- Amenable for fixed night shift schedule

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail to assess claims, interpret policy contracts, and identify complex or unusual cases.
- Knowledge of insurance products, claims administration, and relevant accounting, tax, legal, and medical concepts related to claims adjudication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build trust with customers, beneficiaries, and business partners.
- Proven customer service and stakeholder management skills, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations.
