Meralco is looking for Civil Staff Engineer for Civil Standardization Team

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Development of New Standard Building for Substation including the preparation of Architectural Plan, Structural Plan, Electrical Plan, Mechanical Plan, Sanitary Plan, Structural Calculation, Bill of Materials and Bill of Quantities.
• Development of New Standards (poles, structures, and line hardware) for Sub-Transmission and Distribution line.
• Review conformance of existing standards with the local codes and standards (National Structural Code of the Philippines, Building Code of the Philippines)
• Prepare Structural Analysis and Calculation of New and Existing Standards as part of Data Build-up
• Prepare Bill of Materials and Bill of Quantities
• Review and update of standard design and drawings and preparation of structural analysis and report of the existing 566 Standards for Substation, Sub-Transmission, and Distribution Civil Facilities

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer
• Preferably has work experience/internship in similar field/industry (i.e. utility), newly Licensed Civil Engineers are also welcome to apply
• Good problem-solving skills and in gathering and processing information
• Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies
• Willing to work onsite (Ortigas, Pasig City)
