Job Summary
Ocean Eagle Philippines Inc. is seeking a versatile Registered Civil Engineer to join our technical team. This role is unique in its breadth, covering the civil and structural requirements for both Water Utility projects (pumping stations, filtration plants, pipelines) and Energy projects (power plants, substations, and renewables).
Based in Capiz, you will serve as the primary engineering lead for site developments and structural integrity across our project sites in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Key Responsibilities
- Energy Infrastructure: Oversee the construction of heavy equipment foundations (turbines/generators), substation pads, and structural steel frameworks for power facilities.
- Water Systems: Manage the civil works for water treatment plants, reinforced concrete reservoirs, and large-scale pipeline trenching and installation.
- Site Deployment: Lead Outside Assignments in various regions, supervising local labor and ensuring construction adheres to approved blueprints and timelines.
- Hydraulic & Structural Compliance: Ensure all water-related structures are leak-proof and all energy-related structures meet seismic and National Structural Code (NSCP) requirements.
- Quantity Surveying: Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material estimates, and progress reports for multi-sectoral projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- License:Registered Civil Engineer (PRC Licensed).
- Experience: 35 years in heavy industrial construction. Experience in both water utilities and the power sector is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: * Mastery of AutoCAD.
- Expertise in reinforced concrete design/construction and soil mechanics.
- Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) integrated plans.
- Logistics: Must be willing to be based in Capiz and travel extensively for field projects.
