Job Description
Fyfe is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing comprehensive engineering, environmental, planning and surveying services throughout Australia. Fyfe work with a wide range of clients in the Energy & Resources and Property & Infrastructure sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery.
About the role
Our Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas projects across the country. These include process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, leases, network gathering and distribution systems, major gas transmission pipelines, oil and gas above ground processing facilities, as well as maintenance, integrity and construction related work programs.
Our Energy and Resources Division works with major energy developers to deliver large scale Wind, Solar and BESS projects across the country. Our specialist team delivers Civil Balance of Plant design which includes bulk earthworks, stormwater drainage, hardstands, footings for a variety of equipment, access track design and wind turbine pad design.
We are recruiting for a Civil Engineer to be based in our Philippines team and work remotely to support our team and clients in Australia. The successful candidate will initially be hired by our partner agency in the Philippines as Fyfe builds our presence in the Philippines.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- Diverse experience with experience on Energy projects
- Proven experience in design, analysis, and delivery of civil and structural works in energy projects (renewables, transmission, substations, hydrogen, oil & gas, or power generation).
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, codes, and regulations
- High level communication, interpersonal and team management skills
- Willingness to train and guide junior engineers and designers
- Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills
- Advanced initiative and ability to solve problems
- Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, 12d, TUFLOW)
Skills & experience
We are looking for a qualified engineer with 4 - 12 years experience designing in a 12D environment with previous exposure to working on Australian projects. Onshore gas experience is ideal, but experience with engineering delivery in civil and structural design in energy projects is equally welcome.
