DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare high-quality documentation using AutoCAD for civil engineering projects.
- Undertake civil engineering design tasks as directed, with guidance from Senior Engineers or Engineers.
- Research and apply relevant regulatory policies, guidelines, and standards to ensure compliance.
- Undertake civil modelling under direction, including civil works associated with buildings, road and intersection design, stormwater modelling, and ground surface and earthworks modelling
- Maintain and update the company AutoCAD library, contributing to CAD templates and documentation procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams to achieve optimal project outcomes.
- Demonstrate innovative thinking and problem-solving in all design tasks.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or any related engineering discipline.
- 2 to 5+ years of experience in civil design, drafting, or related roles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (expert level).
- Experience with 12d/AutoCAD Civil 3D is desirable.
- Experience with Drains and MUSIC stormwater design is desirable but not essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Sound problem-solving skills for delivering efficient and innovative design solutions.
