The position falls under CleanCurrent Renewable Energy Inc. (CREI).
The successful candidate will provide technical support throughout the lifecycle of renewable energy projects including wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). He will also assist project activities from early-stage site screening and engineering development through permitting, construction, and commissioning while ensuring that civil works, site infrastructure, and logistics planning are technically sound, cost-effective, and compliant with regulatory and project requirements.
The Role
- Conducts preliminary assessments of project sites focusing on terrain, accessibility, geotechnical considerations, and land suitability
- Evaluates site constraints including road access, transport routes, constructability, and site development requirements
- Supports identification of preliminary site layouts and infrastructure requirements for wind, solar, and BESS facilities
- Supports preparation and review of conceptual and preliminary civil engineering designs
- Coordinates development of site layouts, access roads, drainage systems, foundations, and other civil infrastructure
- Reviews engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documentation from consultants and contractors
- Assesses logistics requirements for transport of major equipment such as wind turbine components, solar modules, transformers, and BESS containers
- Coordinates with logistics providers, contractors, and equipment suppliers to plan delivery and site handling
- Provides technical coordination during civil works and site development activities
- Reviews contractor submittals including construction methodologies, work plans, and technical drawings
The Individual
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with valid PRC license
- With 3 – 5 years of experience in civil works, site development, or infrastructure projects, preferably within the renewable energy industry (wind, solar, BESS)
- Experienced in site assessment, feasibility studies, and evaluation of terrain, access, and other geotechnical conditions
- Proficient in reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and contractor submittals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to be based in Makati City, with extensive travel to project sites
