Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ability to engineer solutions for 2000+ Virtual Desktops.
• Provide remote support for Citrix-related incidents escalated by the tier 1 Service Desk Support.
• Complete understanding of Windows Client and Linux. This would entail administration and automation/provisioning technologies.
• Deep working knowledge of desktop, VDI, and mobile enterprise hardware.
• Ability to troubleshoot applications, plugins, and client technologies.
• Ability to effectively manage and creatively direct in all areas based on the team's functions.
• Provide constructive feedback due to knowledge of team functions.
• Develop training material and training schedule.
• Analyzes and Engineers workflows and procedures and implements changes to the production environment.
• Develop and Engineer improvements and management solutions.
• Able to understand expectations and recognize issues that may affect delivery.
• Perform procedures for system backup, including copying of system files, profile clean-ups, Virtual machine decommissioning, etc.
• Create detailed design documents for turnover.
• Runs scripts and drafts updates to processing procedures/documentation for application processing and backup/contingency.
• Ability to do consultation for new or updated VDI requirements.
• Create transitional documents through the lifecycle of the application or OS.
• Documents customer inquiries, resolves routine problems, or escalates as necessary to close problem records.
• Participate and lead on technical bridge calls.
• Participate in a bi-monthly on-call rotation.
