Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Sr. Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution design and implementation for enterprise workplace services. This role will partner closely with clients, project managers, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready Citrix solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to finalize design requirements and complete technical solutions, including work breakdown, pricing, and planning.
- Lead solution architecture, implementation, and transition to steady-state operations.
- Partner with project managers, technical resources, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are clear, dependencies defined, and solutions tested.
- Act as technical lead for end-to-end project delivery.
- Support workplace services operations, including escalations and steady-state management.
- Design, architect, and implement Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.
- Configure and optimize Citrix components (Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Gateway/NetScaler, Director, Workspace).
- Develop high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for Citrix infrastructure.
- Lead migration projects from legacy Citrix environments.
- Produce technical documentation and automation scripts to support operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- BS/BA in Information Technology with 10+ years of progressive IT experience.
- 5+ years hands-on Citrix architecture and engineering experience.
- Citrix and Virtualization certifications required.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and hybrid cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SSL, VPN, load balancing, firewalls.
- Experience developing scripts/utilities for automation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively across matrixed teams and at all organizational levels.
- Strong knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
