The China Desk Officer acts as the main relationship and business development contact for Chinese clients of a leading Philippine bank, focusing on crossborder ChinaPhilippines business while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Role Summary
- Serve as primary contact for Chinese corporate and highvalue individual clients based in or doing business with the Philippines.
- Facilitate crossborder financing, trade, FX, and cash management solutions with internal teams and overseas counterparts.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire and manage a portfolio of Chinarelated clients; identify needs and pitch appropriate banking products.
- Coordinate documentation, credit proposals, and transaction execution while strictly following KYC, AML, and sanctions rules.
Qualifications
- Legally working and based in the Philippines, with banking or corporate finance experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree, strong Mandarin and English skills, and solid client, credit, and communication skills.
