The Chiller Sales Manager will lead the sales and business development activities for chiller systems. The role is responsible for achieving sales targets, developing new chiller projects, managing key customers, and building strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and end-users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies for chiller products and systems.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profit targets.
- Identify and develop new commercial and industrial chiller projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with MEP consultants, mechanical contractors, developers, building owners, and end-users.
- Promote and secure chiller specifications with consultants and project stakeholders.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation, technical proposal, quotation, negotiation, closing, and project handover.
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals.
- Work closely with engineering teams on chiller selection, capacity, efficiency, and system requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and commercial conditions.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, project opportunities, and pricing.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and project pipelines.
- Manage key accounts and develop long-term business relationships.
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team.
- Coordinate with engineering, project, service, procurement, and finance teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of sales experience in chillers , preferably with strong chiller exposure.
- Proven experience in commercial/industrial chiller project sales.
- Strong knowledge of air-cooled and/or water-cooled chillers.
- Understanding of chilled-water systems, cooling towers, pumps, AHUs, and FCUs.
- Experience dealing with consultants, contractors, developers, and building owners.
- Strong background in B2B/project sales and business development.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage a sales pipeline.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Leadership experience managing or mentoring sales engineers is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for customer and project meetings.
