Job Description

The Chief Technology Officer will serve as the Company's technology executive, responsible for architecting, deploying, and governing a modern technology ecosystem that supports our real estate development and construction portfolio.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned IT professional with strong senior management leadership credentials, a deep appreciation for AI-driven business transformation, and demonstrable experience in industries where large-scale data management, documentation workflows, and financial systems intersect.

The CTO will ensure that the Company's foundational technology infrastructure platforms, data architecture, cybersecurity, and integrations is robust enough to support an AI strategy.

Key Responsibilities

A. Technology Vision & AI Strategy

  • Develop, own, and execute the Company's multi-year IT and AI roadmap aligned with the overall business strategy, ensuring technology decisions are guided by measurable business value.
  • Lead the design and deployment of an AI-ready enterprise architecture, covering infrastructure provisioning, cloud platforms, integration middleware, and data management frameworks.
  • Define the Company's phased AI adoption plan, prioritizing use cases in administrative automation, sales intelligence, financial operations, document management, and construction analytics.
  • Stay abreast of emerging AI, machine learning, and automation technologies relevant to real estate, commercial-leasing, and property development sectors, translating trends into strategic opportunities.
  • Communicate the technology vision clearly to the Board, senior leadership, and departmental heads, fostering a culture of digital literacy and innovation across the organization.

B. Infrastructure, Platforms & Data Migration

  • Assess the Company's current technology state and design a modernization plan covering hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, and data repositories.
  • Lead the selection, procurement, and deployment of core enterprise platforms capable of supporting AI-layer integrations.
  • Oversee the structured migration of critical business data including property records, buyer files, financial ledgers, construction progress data, and workflow documents to consolidated, AI-accessible repositories.
  • Establish data governance protocols, ensuring data quality, consistency, traceability, and regulatory compliance (including Philippine Data Privacy Act requirements).
  • Design and implement a scalable cloud or hybrid infrastructure that supports real-time data access, system redundancy, and disaster recovery for all business-critical systems.

C. AI & Automation Implementation

  • Define system requirements, select AI vendors or develop proprietary tools in collaboration with technology partners, and manage implementation timelines and budgets.
  • Establish performance benchmarks and KPIs for each AI use case, ensuring measurable efficiency gains and error-rate reductions are tracked and reported to leadership.
  • Supervise the integration of AI modules with existing or new core systems across Business Development, Project Development, Marketing, Sales, Construction, Documentation, Collection, and Turnover departments.
  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth technology adoption by end users, working closely with HR and department heads on training and transition planning.

D. IT Governance, Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Establish and enforce enterprise-wide IT governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure reliability, security, and accountability across all technology systems.
  • Develop and manage the Company's cybersecurity framework, covering data protection, access controls, threat monitoring, incident response, and employee security awareness.
  • Ensure full compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act (Republic Act 10173), Anti-Money Laundering Act requirements as applicable to documentation, and other relevant regulations governing real estate transactions.
  • Oversee vendor management, technology contracts, software licensing, and SLA compliance for all third-party technology providers and AI platform partners.

E. Leadership, Team Building & Stakeholder Management

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT team capable of supporting day-to-day operations and driving long-term innovation initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Finance Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and all business unit heads to ensure technology investments are strategically aligned and operationally relevant.
  • Present technology performance reports, project status updates, and investment proposals to the Board of Directors and Senior Management in a clear, executive-ready manner.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration, acting as a technology advisor and partner to all business units rather than a purely technical function.
  • Manage the IT department's annual budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments with clearly defined ROI metrics.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a directly related discipline from an accredited institution. No substitution accepted.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of cumulative professional experience in Information Technology roles, with a demonstrated progression of increasing scope and responsibility.
  • At least three (3) years in a senior IT leadership position and with direct accountability for team performance and technology strategy.
  • At least one (1) fully completed Artificial Intelligence or intelligent automation project deployed in a live production environment, with measurable business outcomes. Purely theoretical or academic exposure does not qualify.
  • Work experience in at least one of the following sectors: Banking, Financial Services, or Real Estate. This may be from either a technology or business operations role within those industries.
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one enterprise-grade platform: ERP, CRM, Document Management System (DMS), or Financial Management System used in a business setting.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in at least one major cloud platform: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including deployment, security configuration, and cost management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and migrating structured business data, including financial records, customer data, or operational documents, within an enterprise context.
  • Business-level English fluency in both written and spoken communication is mandatory and non-negotiable. The role requires regular presentation to the Board, senior executives, and external technology partners.
  • Must currently hold, or be willing and legally eligible to obtain, the appropriate work permit and authorization to be employed in the Philippines. The Company will provide standard HR facilitation support for foreign applicants.
