1. General Information
- Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
- Reports to: CEO in Norway
- Organizational Placement: Leads the operational business outside Norway and is responsible for operations, HR, and organizational development.
- Purpose of the Position: Ensure efficient operations while developing the organization, employee competence, and culture that supports the company's strategy.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Overall responsibility for daily operations, processes, and quality. Solid understanding of how time-based or project-based billing works.
- Strategy Implementation: Translate the company's strategy into operational and organizational actions.
- HR and Organizational Development: Ensure recruitment, competence development, leadership development, and employee engagement. Skilled in motivating, developing, and following up employees. Insight into how the labor leasing market works, including competition, pricing, and regulatory aspects. Understanding of challenges related to having decentralized or externally placed employees (culture, belonging, communication), as the company has employees (both office-based and remote) in Manila, Davao, and India.
- Culture Building: Promote an inclusive and value-based culture that strengthens collaboration and performance. Skilled in motivating, developing, and following up employees. Ability to build an attractive employer brand and ensure low turnover.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement measures for efficiency and cost reduction. Ability to optimize resource utilization, margins, and capacity management.
- Compliance and Labor Law: Ensure the business complies with applicable laws, regulations, and internal guidelines.
- Reporting: Report status on operations, HR KPIs, and risk factors to the CEO and board.
3. Authority and Decision-Making
- Decision-making authority within operations, HR strategy, and personnel policies.
- Clarifications with the CEO or board for major organizational changes or investments.
4. Competency Requirements
- Education: In leadership, HR, organizational psychology, or equivalent.
- Experience: Solid leadership experience in operations and HR, preferably from complex organizations.
- Skills: Strategic thinking, change management, communication, conflict resolution, and analytical ability.
5. Goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Delivery precision and cost efficiency.

6. Working Conditions
- Location: Philippines (Manila or Davao)
