The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be a key member of the executive leadership team for a global education platform. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, with a primary focus on driving aggressive revenue growth, overseeing marketing strategies, and managing the company's P&L.
We are looking for a high-impact leader who understands the mechanics of high-growth digital platforms. If you have a background in scaling fast-paced, customer-centric digital ecosystems—such as e-commerce, on-demand delivery, or ride-hailing—and possess the strategic acumen to translate that experience into the EdTech space, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth: Lead the sales and business development organizations to achieve aggressive quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that capture market share.
- P&L Management: Maintain full accountability for the company's P&L. Optimize operational costs, prioritize resource allocation, and ensure long-term financial sustainability and profitability.
- Marketing Leadership: Oversee the marketing function to strengthen brand positioning, improve customer acquisition costs (CAC), and maximize user retention across our B2B and B2C segments.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline internal processes to ensure scalability. Implement performance metrics and KPIs that foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and accountability.
- Process Optimization: Drive efficiency in lead conversion, onboarding, and customer success, utilizing your experience in high-volume, digital-first industries.
- Leadership & Culture: Mentor and lead a diverse team, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture that aligns with Quipper's mission of transforming education.
Requirements:
- Industry Background: Experience from similar high-transaction, fast-paced digital platforms. You must have experience in environments where customer acquisition, funnel optimization, and high-frequency transactions are core to the business model.
- A deep understanding of sales operations, pipeline management, and B2B / B2C sales cycles.
- Experience working with regional / international stakeholders
- Willgness to work in Makati and in the field in a hybrid setup
