Right hand to the founder of an Australian agency
We are hiring a Chief of Staff: the person who sits beside the founder, joins every sales call, owns the pipeline, and hand-picks the team we place with clients.
About us
DotVA (dotva.com.au) is an Australian virtual assistant agency placing top Filipino talent with Australian businesses. We are founder-led, growing fast, and obsessive about quality: we built our own assessment platforms because resumes do not tell you who is actually good. Every hire we make, and every hire we place, goes through a rigorous application.
What you will actually do
- Sales calls. Business owners request a VA through our website. You join those discovery calls with the founder, and over time you lead them. You are the voice of DotVA's quality bar, live, with Australian business owners.
- Own the pipeline. Every lead gets chased to an outcome. You follow up, nurture, book the call, and keep things moving to a decision. No lead ever goes quiet without you knowing why.
- Recruit the best. When a client says yes, you find them someone brilliant. You source, screen through our assessment platform, interview, and present shortlists that make clients say yes on the spot.
- Be the right hand. Onboarding, client check-ins, fixing what is broken before anyone asks. You will have a direct line to both founders and real influence on where the business goes next.
Who you are
- A standout communicator in English, spoken and written. You will be on live calls with Australian business owners from week one, so this is non-negotiable.
- 3+ years in a client-facing role: sales, account management, client success, or similar.
- You have recruited, interviewed, or screened people before, or you are hungry to own that.
- A proactive operator. You act without being asked, you close loops, and you are allergic to I was waiting on...
The offer
- PHP 60,000–150,000 per month, full time
- Permanently remote (Philippines)
- Australian business hours, roughly 7:00am to 4:00pm Manila time
- Direct line to the founder, and a genuine seat at the table as we scale
