Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Finance Controller - Diverse Industries Focus
We are strategically searching for a highly experienced and adaptive Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Finance Controller to lead the financial operations and strategy for various entities within our diverse portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a proven financial leader capable of navigating the complex regulatory and operational landscapes across multiple sectors, with particular interest in candidates possessing significant expertise in the Banking, Financial Services, or Large Conglomerate industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute tailored financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts across different business units, optimizing capital allocation and driving performance improvements.
- Multi-Sector Financial Reporting: Oversee accounting operations and ensure timely, accurate financial statements, requiring proficiency in consolidated reporting and segmental analysis common in conglomerates, as well as the specific reporting standards required for regulated entities like banks.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Establish robust internal controls and manage financial risks, adapting to the varying regulatory compliance frameworks of different industries (e.g., Basel requirements for banking, or diverse international tax laws for conglomerates).
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in senior financial leadership roles (CFO, VP Finance, or Finance Controller).
- Industry Expertise: Proven track record of successfully managing finance functions across multiple industry sectors is highly preferred. Significant, hands-on experience in either the Banking/Financial Services or a Large Conglomerate environment is required.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of complex financial modeling, strategic planning, and reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS), coupled with the agility to manage diverse regulatory regimes.
