Role Description

The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) provides strategic financial leadership to Stellar Seeds Corp., ensuring the company's financial health, compliance, and sustainable growth. The CFO plays a pivotal role in guiding corporate finance operations across the Philippines and Vietnam, supporting expansion projects, and aligning financial strategies with organizational goals. By overseeing the Vietnam and Philippines Corporate Accountant, the CFO ensures that country-level financial practices are integrated into a unified corporate framework, enabling effective decision-making and operational excellence.

Position Overview

The CFO is the highest-ranking finance executive, directly reporting to the Regional Business Head. The Vietnam Chief Accountant and Philippines Corporate Accountant report directly to the CFO, ensuring alignment of financial operations with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth, expansion, and operational excellence.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Regional Business Head and Directors.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across Vietnam and Philippines operations.

Financial Operations & Oversight

• Supervise Vietnam Chief Accountant and Philippines Corporate Accountant to ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and international standards.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow management, and capital allocation to support business priorities.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and audits.

Governance & Compliance

• Uphold the highest standards of ethical behavior, transparency, and accountability in financial practices.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, government regulations, and audit requirements.
• Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Business Partnering & Decision Support

• Collaborate with executives to drive strategic initiatives.
• Provide financial modeling, risk analysis, and cost management support for new projects (e.g., Vietnam Plant construction, coffee business consolidation).
• Support operational leaders with financial insights to improve efficiency and profitability.

Team Leadership & Development

• Mentor and guide Vietnam Chief Accountant, Philippines Corporate Accountant, and finance teams.
• Build a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.
• Drive adoption of modern financial systems, ERP tools, and digital solutions.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and treasury, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, cost management, compliance, and ERP systems.
• Proven ability to lead cross-country finance operations and support multinational business expansion.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
