Requirements
BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration, or a related field.
Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is a plus.
Proven experience as a Chief Compliance Officer or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations.
Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping.
A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
An analytical mind able to see the complexities of procedures and regulations.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in risk management.
Strong understanding of corporate law and procedures.
Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards.
Proven track record of managing compliance programs.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office and compliance management software.

Responsibilities
- Be abreast and knowledgeable with regulations on non-bank financial institutions (from
the MORNBFI), anti-money laundering (from the AMLC) and data privacy (from the NPC).
- Help craft and propose compliance policies and procedures based on above regulations.
- Develop and implement a compliance program to ensure the company operates in
accordance with BSP, SEC, AMLC and NPC regulations.
- Be the primary point person in dealing with the examination and findinsof the above-
mentioned regulatory agencies.
- Design compliance metrics and establish a system for tracking them.
- Sign off on any marketing, advertising collateral and product development to ensure it is
compliant to regulations.
- Perform compliance audits to determine whether established protocols and procedures
are being followed and where they can be improved.
- Help maintain up to date written documentation and policies related to the
organization's business activities
- Create compliance resources for staff members to reference when they have question.
- Such other task as may, from time to time, be assigned by the Management.
